Nigeria Beat South Africa 1-0; Qualify For FIFA U17 World Cup

The Nigerian U17 women's team have qualified for the FIFA 17 women's world cup in Jordan with a 1-0 victory over their South African counterpart on Saturday. 

Rasheedat Ajibade's 29th minute strike gave the flamingos the
one goal advantage in Tembisa as Nigeria progressed on a 7-0 aggregate after winning the first leg two weeks ago by 6-0.

Captain Rasheedat Ajibade, who scored the only goal for the Bala Nkiyu's side on saturday scored four goals in two weeks ago, while Yetunde Fajobi got a brace to seal the victory for Nigeria.

Nigeria has not missed out of the U17 world women's tournament since its inception in 2008, and they will be joined by Ghana, who beat Morocco 4-0 in the first leg a fortnight ago, and another between Cameroon and Egypt, Cameroon with the advantage, beating Egypt 2-1 in the 1st leg of their encounter.
