Enyimba FC Midfielder, Ikechukwu Ibenegbu, has expressed disappointment at some Nigerian fans who despite qualifying to the group stage of the CAF champions league, weren't satisfied losing 3-0 to the Tunisians.
The Paul Aigbogun's men showed class in Port Harcourt by putting three into their net and they
returned the favour on Wednesday night, but the Nigerian outfit progressed on penalties, to put Nigerian side in the group stage for the first time in four years.
The victory for Enyimba completes the eight team to be grouped for the next stage of the championship; ES Setif, Zamalek, Zesco, Wydad, AS Vita, Al Ahly, ASEC Mimosas, Enyimba.
"Despite all the antics of Etoile du Sahel here in Sousse, Tunisia to make sure we lose by all means and God helped us to qualify to group stage which no Nigerian team has achieved for past 4 years, what we could get from some of our Nigerian fans was calling Enyimba all sorts of names, #so painful#."

Meanwhile, Enyimba have made over 128, 000,000 naira for qualifying for the group stage of the continental tournament.
