Femi Thomas Insists Emyinba Will Make Nigerians Proud Regardless In Tunisia

Ahead of Wednesday's CAF champions league clash against Etoile du Sahel in Tunisia, Enyimba goalkeeper, Femi Thomas, has insisted that the two time champoins will not be intimidated by the host.

The Nigeria Professional Football league champions have a 3-0 advantage going into the game, as

Thomas insists his side will not be upset by the likely hostile atmosphere that awaits them in Sousse.  

"We will not be intimidated by the whistles and screams from the crowd," 

"Before the start of the competition, we made a resolve that we want to make Nigerians proud and not just completing the numbers but challenge for the title."

"We thank God for where we are now and where he is taking us to. To be honest, our game in Tunisia will be very tough but we believe in God to scale through."

Despite their massive first leg advantage, he feels his side must give a good fight to confirm their place in the group stage.

"This is football and anything can still happen, so it is not yet time for celebration,"

"We will approach the game against Etoile like a final and play as if our lives depend on it."

"In Sousse, we want to play good football, enjoy ourselves and get a good result. This is not the first time we are facing them, so we are prepared to face any kind of intimidation thrown at us."
