Super Eagles midfielder, John Ogu Ugochukwu, has dedicated his goal against Bnei Sakhnin in Saturday’s Israeli League game to his wife and unborn baby.
The Nigerian international, who last featured for the country in the confederation cup in Brazil in
2013 scored a goal and an assist their 4-1 victory to reach the summit of the league with 73 points from 31 games.
"Thank you Lord for the victory, another goal and an assist. Everything today is dedicated to my lovely wife Chiugo Veronica Akaolisa and our unborn princess.
"Focus now on Wednesday's cup semi final.Proud of my man Tony Nwakaeme. two goals tonight from him as well."
Ogu took to social media after the game to thank God for everything but the question is, why has this young man not made the team of any Nigerian coach, given his performance as a midfielder, who's also attacking minded?
