Novak Djokovic Crashed Out Of Monte Carlo Masters

World number one, Novak Djokovic has been knocked out of the ongoing Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters on Wednesday by World number 55, Jiri Vesely.

The Serbian, who is the defending champion, lost in the second round of the championship in France to the Czech professional player 6-4 2-6 6-4.

This will be Djokovic’s second defeat in the season- his first defeat on the ATP World Tour in three years, since losing in the second round of the Mutua Madrid Open against Grigor Dimitrov.

Rafael Nadal, meanwhile, made a comfortable start in his bid to regain the Monte Carlo crown with a straight sets win over Aljaz Bedene.

Nadal, who won the Monaco tournament eight times in a row between 2005 and 2012, broke all but four of the British No.2's service games in a 6-3, 6-3 victory to kick off his clay season.
