Nigeria Football Federation first vice president, Seyi Akinwunmi, has admitted that there were issues rocking the Nigeria FA but insists it is nothing to worry about, as Pinnick remains the president of the federation.
The Amaju Pinnick led board was last week sacked by a Jos court over election malpractice, but the
Lagos FA president maintained that they are focused on improving football at all levels in the country.
"There have been a few hitches here and there along the way, but the present Board is not deterred. We are focused on our vision."
"No crisis, no instability in Nigeria football. The Congress and everyone that matter have spoken: Pinnick is NFF President."
He also revealed that Enugu Rangers manager, Imama Amakapabo and Abia Warrior's Kennedy Boboye will assist Salisu Yusuf and Aloy Agu in the next two friendly games organised for the Super Eagles against Mali and Luxemborg this May.
"We want our indigenous Coaches to get exposure. Salisu Yusuf will lead Amapakabor and Boboye to coach Super Eagles for two friendlies"
"We will continue trying to win trophies, but we will not lose focus on building a sustainable football culture for Nigeria."
"Akinwunmi: NFF has put in place plans to ensure seamless growth from Flamingoes to Super Falcons"
"Outstanding players in the youth programs to be taken abroad for exposure as part of grooming."
"Akinwunmi: For the first time ever, NFF has Youth Football Development Policy. U-13 and U-15 programs ongoing nationwide."
Akinwunmi concluded by saying that the federation will support the only Nigerian side all the way in the CAF champions league, after the two time champions progressed to the group stage of the championship on Wednesday night.
" NFF will back Enyimba all the way."
