Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick, has insisted that Nigeria will qualify for the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia, regardless of the current problems the FA is facing.
The three-time African champions, who for the first time in history failed to appear in two consecutive AFCON finals; 2015 and 2017, would be seeking a sixth world cup appearance when the African qualifying series begin later this year.
Pinnick didn't shy away from the fact that the FA is facing an attack from the Chris Giwa-led group, battling for the NFF presidency.
"We cannot afford any distractions, not from anywhere," Pinnick told media.
