El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri have confirmed the arrival of eight new players to the team to help improve their performances in the second stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football League season.
The players are Isiaka Olawale (Giwa FC), John Aguda (Lobi Stars), Kingsley Youwei (Sharks), Obinna Aguocha (Orlu United), Bamai Bukar (ex-player and captain), Usman Malika (El Kanemi Babes), Odeyemi Ebenezer (Enyimba) and Lukman Abdulkarim (FC IfeanyiUbah).
An official of the Maiduguri Warriors, Anthony Obaseki said the eight players will be unveiled in the side NPFL matchday 22 home clash against Abia Warriors.
"We have signed eight new players to strengthen our campaign for honour in the second stanza of the on-going top-flight."
