Former Nigerian manager, Paul Hamilton has described the death of the Nigeria Football Federation's technical director, Amodu Shuaibu as a big loss to the Nigerian football family.
The four-time Nigerian senior team handler died in the early hours of Saturday, 11th June, 2016, barely three days after the death of former Super Eagles gaffer, Stephen Keshi.
The 58-year old was said to have complained of chest pain before bed and he never got the chance to see the next day.
Hamilton said the painful experience in the past one week in Nigeria is quite worrisome.
"For the past one week we have been experiencing a lot of thing that is not really good for us as a nation first it was the death of Stephen Keshi and now, Shuaibu Amodu."
"It’s quite unfortunate and a very big loss to Nigerians and the entire football community."
"Amodu’s death is disturbing for one to go to sleep peacefully and could not wake up."
"Amodu did not die in an accident or known illness but shockingly in his sleep I must confess it’s disturbing to those who are close to him."

The late Amodu coached BCC Lions, El Kanemi Warriors, Premier Soccer League (PSL) side, Orlando Pirates, among others.
