Lebron James has joined Golden State Warriors player, Steph Curry, to pull out of the United States basketball squad for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
The 31-year-old Cleveland Cavaliers star, who helped his side come from behind to beat the Golden State Warriors to clinch the NBA title, was a part of the US team that won gold medals at the last two Games.
James, after helping the Cavs to a tremendous recovery against Steph Curry's Golden State Warriors said on Thursday: "I could use the rest".
James, the NBA's four-time Most Valued Player, is the US team's all-time scoring leader with 273 points and second in career rebounds with 95.
