Nigeria U23 national team coach, Samson Siasia, has disclosed that the just concluded Suwon international tournament was an eye opener for the Nigerian contingent, ahead of the forthcoming
Olympic Games in Brazil.
Nigeria lost their first two games against host nation, South Korea and Denmark, before redeeming their image with a 3-1 win over Honduras on Monday morning.
The former Flying Eagles gaffer, who spoke after his game on Tuesday said the experience in Korea was overwhelming.
"I’m happy we are not going back home pointless. The most important thing is that team officials and the players have learnt a lot from this tournament which we will take back home to start making our corrections.
