Barely one day after Germany striker, Mario Gotze returned to his former club, Borussia Dortmund, has completed the signing of another German international ahead of the coming season.
The coach Thomas Tuchel-led teamsigned Andre Schurrle from Wolfsburg on a five year deal and the former Chelsea forward has revealed that he wants to be a part of the team's success.
The 2014 World Cup winner, who has appeared in the German colours 55 times, scoring 20 goals in the process, has spent the majority of his career in the Bundesliga, playing for Mainz and Bayer Leverkusen before joining Chelsea, and moving to VFL Wolfsburg following his Stamford Bridge exit.
Schurrle said after committing his future to the former Bundes Liga champions: "Borussia Dortmund is one of the top clubs in Europe with a strong and extremely exciting squad.
"I know from personal experience just how much power Dortmund has developed through the interaction with fans, and I look forward now to be able to experience everything, not as an awestruck opponent, but as part of the club.
"In the coming years I want to celebrate success with Borussia Dortmund and I'm going to start training to convince people that it was right to sign me."
In addition to the World Cup Schurrle has also won the Premier League and the League Cup, along with the DFB-Pokal and the DFL-Supercup.
Meanwhile in England, Arsene Wenger is also doing business, but not with big names all around Europe, as the Premier League side, Arsenal have announced the signing of 20-year-old defender Rob Holding, who joins on a long-term deal from Bolton Wanderers.
The youngster won the player of the season award with the Trotters last season as well as the Toulon Tournament with the England under-21 side this summer.
And now he makes the step up to Premier League football with the Gunners.
