Nigerian-born Manchester City youngster, Tosin Adarabioyo, has said he was honoured to have been fielded in Pep Guardiola's side 1-0 loss to Bayern Munich in a pre-season friendly.
The former Barcelona coach lost to another of his former side, Bayern Munich, in his debut game for
the premier league side, and the 18-year old central defender said he has learnt so much in this short period of Pep's arrival.
Adarabioyo played alongside already established Manchester City forward,Kelechi Iheanacho, who was almost dropped by the new manager pre season program.
"It’s a great honour for me to start Pep’s first game in charge," he told the Manchester City website.
"It was a nice experience. I have learnt a lot training under him and I want this to go on.”
The 1.96m tall defender, who played the entire 90 minutes has played for England U-16, U-17, U-18 and U-19 national teams.
