The current world's fastest man, Usain Bolt has been granted medical exemption to be a part of the 63-man team that will represent Jamaica in this summer's Rio Olympic Games in Brazil.
The Olympic 100m and 200m champion, who has been recuperating from a hamstring injury he
picked up during the national trials now has the chance to defend his titles when the games commence on August 5.
The 29-year old who will also be defending the men's 4x100m title confirmed last Friday that he would compete at the Anniversary Games in London on 22 July.
Bolt sustained his injury - a grade-one tear - during the first round of the 100m in Kingston and withdrew after winning his semi-final.
