We Were Almost Punished For Underrating Prime FC- Warri Wolves Coach

Warri Wolves head coach, Mansur Abdullahi, has admitted that his side's Federation Cup victory over Prime FC in the round of 16 played on Wednesday was tough, but insisted that the team is getting better by the day after the departure of some of the players.

The Nigeria Professional Football League side edged the Nigeria National league side 6-5 on penalties after normal regulation time ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Seasiders avenged their ouster by the Ogbomosho side at this stage of the competition in 2014,

and the new head coach said their quarter final clash against NPFL side, IfeanyiUbah FC will be interesting in terms of quality of both sides.

"The team is coming up gradually as you know many players left the team, so it is not easy."

The game is going to be like any other game, but it will be more interesting than that of prime FC
in terms of quality."

"Prime is a good team and our boys underrated them in the first half."

Coach Abdullahi said he's battle ready for their next Federation Cup opponent, adding that he has downloaded some of their clips to equip the technical crew of their strenghts and weaknesses.
