Ahead of their Premier League match day three against Slaven Bilic's West Ham United, Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has declared Nigeria's Kelechi Iheanacho fit and available for selection.
The Super Eagles striker was stretched out of 1-0 champions league victory over Steaua Bucuresti on
Wednesday, but the former Bayern Munich manager has disclosed that the 19 year old trained with the rest of the players, and therefore, will be available on game day three.
"Everybody’s fit and ready - we trained with 30 players today, and no injuries from midweek, Kelechi was almost nothing so it was a scare but he’s fine." Guardiola told journalists at his pre-match press conference.
City have claimed all six points in their first two games and will be looking to continue their fine run in the league over ninth-placed West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium to remain at the summit of the English topflight.
With this Iheanacho will be available selection for Nigeria's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania billed for September 3, 2016. Goal
