Super Eagles Captain, Vincent Enyeama, has admitted that the absence of the Super Eagles hurts but believes that the 30th edition of the African cup of nations in Equatorial Guinea that it will be an interesting showpiece even without the Eagles.Enyeama, was crowned the best player in Africa at the just concluded African footballer of the year awards maintained that the absence of Nigeria will not stop the continental showpiece from being glamorous.

The 32 year old shot stopper he urged Nigerians to try and create fun from the tourney by routing for other African teams to win but says the Eagles will come back stronger.
“It’s going to be an interesting show of football out there but unfortunately, Nigeria won’t there and it pains me but this is football, this is life”
