The stand-in coach of the Nigeria’s senior national team, Daniel Amokachi has invited 28 players from both home and abroad to execute the FIFA international friendly games against Bolivia and South Africa.
The games, which would most likely win goalkeeper and skipper, Vincent Enyeama his 100th senior cap for Nigeria consists of 10 home-based players while the rest are selected from all other leagues across the world.
Enyeama, who won the Goal 2014 player of the year, has featured in three FIFA World Cup for the country, and he is presently on 99 caps, the second to reach 100 caps after former skipper, Joseph Yobo.
Amokachi has obliged a special request by injured Victor Moses, one of the stars of Nigeria’s triumph at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, to be listed as the Stoke City star believes he will recover before the two bouts.
The players are expected to report at the Le Meridien Hotel, Uyo on Monday, 23rd March for the March 26 clash with Bolivia, with the squad heading to South Africa on Friday, March 27 for the battle with the Bafana Bafana in Nelspruit on Sunday, March 29.
