Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye has confirmed that three players will be dropper from the senior national team that will face South Africa on Sunday.
The Daniel Amokachi-led side are expected to play against the Bafana Bafana side who are more serious minded after the disappointing performance by the Eagles team against the Ugandan national team on Wednesday, which ended 0-2 in favour of the Cranes in Uyo.
"I believe four players will be dropped so that we will be going with a reduced number than those we have in camp presently, media officer Toyin Ibitoye told Goal.
"The Eagles have vowed to stage a comeback against their hosts on Sunday as they are still bitter about the home loss to Uganda."
He said that the players who did not feature for Nigeria against Uganda may be given a chance to help redeem the image of the team- and these players are Kingsley Sokari, Onyekachi Okafor and Ubong Ekpai.
Meanwhile, the South African side have vowed to beat the Super Eagles at their back yard after stopping the 2013 African Champions from defending the title they won 2 years ago in South Africa.
