Argentina international, Angel Di Maria has debunked rumours linking him away from the Old Traffford despite having a difficult debut season at Manchester United.
The 27-year-old Argentine who moved from Real Madrid for a British record transfer fee of €75 million admitted that his campaign did not go as had planned but maintains he will not be discouraged.
"I came with an intention to succeed and ended up on the bench," he told Ole. "It’s hard to tell how I feel there. I started well, scoring goals and getting assists.
"I was having a good time until I was left out. It’s a little hard to explain why I was not playing.
“But no, I will not leave, because I’m not thinking like that.
“In Madrid there were times when I was whistled around the stadium but I faced it and then it turned around. I like to deal with things."
Di Maria started just 20 Premier League games for Louis van Gaal's men last season, scoring three goals and setting up 10. Goal
