Nduka Ugbade commends North Korea despite loss

Flying Eagles assistant coach, Nduka Ugbade has commended the North Korean U-20 side for putting up a good fight against the Nigeria's U-20 in their second group game at the FIFA U-20 world cup in New Zealand.

Godwin Saviour struck twice in the space of about 6 minutes into the second half, after the first half ended a barren draw.

Granada's Isaac Success and Enyimba's Kingsley Sokari completed the 4-0 routing of the Asian side, after losing their group opener to Brazil on Monday morning.
Ugbade described Korea's loss as unfortunate saying that they fought harder than they did against Hungary in their first game.

"It was difficult because of the situation we put ourselves."

"North Korea did a lot better against Nigeria than they did against Hungary but God helped us to defeat them regardless of the fight the put up"

Nigeria will face Hungary in their last group game on Sunday morning to progress to the next stage.

Hungary beat North Korea 5-1 in the first game and lost to Brazil 2-1 in their second group game, and this means that Korea are out while Brazil are already in the next stage of the tournament.
