Former Super Eagles coach, Christian Chukwu has blamed the leadership of the Nigeria Football Federation over the recent sack of Stephen Keshi, who was accused of applying for Ivory Coast coaching job.
Chukwu insists that the nation's FA never wanted to re-hire the former Mali and Togo boss which was why his reappointment took over 9 months before it was confirmed.
According to Chukwu, “from day one, it was obvious the federation didn’t really want to work with Keshi and one could read it easily from their body language. “Coaching job is all about hiring and firing and I hope Keshi will take it in good faith.” Oyo Sportnews
