Nigeria's U-23 national team coach, Samson Siasia has showered praises on the Dream Team VI after coming from behind to save a point from their game against Senegal in their last group game at the ongoing All African Games in Congo Brazzaville.
Nigeria made it through to the semi final stage with 4 points from two games- beat Ghana 2-0 and drew 1-1 with Senegal.
Meanwhile, the coach of the side has said that his boys effort helped them finish top of the group which in turn will make them avoid Congo in their next game.
"My boys made me proud, I love their fighting spirit, to concede a goal that late and come back to equalize is a sign that the boys have a strong mentality, I must also commend Mustapha who was able to calm his nerves to score the equalizer, for now let's just go and savor our qualification for the semi finals, as this draw has made us to avoid the host (Congo) who would have been tough to play, I would prefer playing them in the finals"
Thee former Flying Eagles coach promised Nigerians to keep the momentum high, adding that he will definitely reshuffle his team in the semi final of the championship.
