Nigeria Fail To Rise On The Latest Fifa Rankings

For the third month on a row, the Super Eagles of Nigeria have failed to climb to the top best 50 foot balling nations in the world,
after keeping it's 53rd position on the latest FIFA rankings released on Thursday. 

Nigeria position remain unchanged after failing to beat Tanzania in the last month's AFCON qualifiers in Dar Es Salam, but thrashed Niger 2-0 three days after in a friendly in Port Harcourt.

Meanwhile, Algeria remained on the 19th spot and number one of the African continent, closely followed by the 2015 AFCON champions, Ivory Coast in the 21st position on the global stage.

Ghana, Tunisia, Senegal, Cape Verde, Cameroon, Congo are all before Nigeria both on the globe and the continent.

On the global stage, Argentina remains world best footballing team, with Germany moving one step up to displace Belgium, who were second last month.

Portugal moved one step up to become 6th in the world as Wales moved one more step up to finish 8th, their best position on the Fifa ranking ever.
