MFM FC coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, has said he was disappointed his side failed to convert most of the chances they created following their 1-1 draw against Warri Wolves at the Agege stadium on Wednesday.
The visitors took the lead in the 54th minute but Isah Akor's header saved the Olukoya from losing their third home game since the second stanza kicked off.
Ilechukwu also blamed his strikers poor conversion rate in front of goal on experience, but said that they will continue to work hard to ensure they reach their target at the end of the season.
"We've been training on how to score goals since last week but at the end of this game, I didn't see the effect of that training and this is really making me unhappy at this point in time, but we have to continue to put in our best because I still believe in the team."
"It's unfortunate that we had to drop points again at home against Warri Wolves. It's a tough time but i know that tough people do last,"
"Our front line have not been converting their chances, even me at my age will convert some of those chances at my age, but, everything is all about experience."
"We had a good performance from the defence to the midfield but the attackers were very poor and it's quite disappointing. But at this moment you can't give up instead we need to pick up from here and encourage ourselves for the task ahead.
"We got it right in the first stanza of the league by scoring goals but we haven't done as much in the second half. I wouldn't say that I have failed but I'll instead take up the responsibility as the coach of the team."
"We have to continue to work and encourage the players because at this point in time we can shout or get angry, doing that will mar the good work the team has been doing from the beginning of the season."
The Lagos based team have a date with Wikki Tourists, who have been in fine form so far this season, and they will be hoping they can get at least a point away from home on Sunday.
