Managers; Players Reatc To Their UCL Draws

Reactions have started to trail the 2016/17 UEFA champions draws which was concluded on Thursday evening, where the cupholders, Real Madrid are grouped along with German Bundes Liga side, Borrusia Dortmund in Group F.

Also in the group of the defending champions are Sporting CP(POR) and Legia(POL).

This year's champions league final will be played in Cardiff on June 3rd 2017 and the managers and players have reacted to the teams they got in their groups.

Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus coach: "Last year we missed a big chance at Sevilla [when a defeat meant Juventus finished second in the group]. It will be a red-hot atmosphere in Lyon and Zagreb so we need to be very careful and stay focused."

Leonid Slutski, CSKA coach: "We’ve been given another tough draw. Tottenham, Monaco and Bayer play in the top European leagues. [But] I believe we have a chance to qualify from this group thanks to our experience of playing against big clubs."

Sami Khedira ✔ @SamiKhedira: "This is going to be very interesting! The draw brought us trips to Spain, France and Croatia. Can't wait for #UCL to start! ✌🏼😉 #ForzaJuve"

Thomas Tuchel, Dortmund coach: "There was a lot of anticipation in our camp ahead of the draw. We now have an appealing group. It's difficult but equally attractive. Matches against Real are becoming classics for Dortmund. We are looking forward to meeting the holders!"

Florentino Pérez, Real Madrid president: "We are really happy because two Real Madrid players were among the best [three] in Europe. I think the prize going to Cristiano is recognition for one of his best seasons. He’s won everything. I’d also like to say something about Bale, who arrived three years ago and has two Champions Leagues."

@FCBayernEN .@matshummels on the #UCLdraw: "I'm very happy with the group because we've got 3 teams I've never played before."
