Nigeria Professional Football League reigning champions, Kano Pillars have re-hired coach Mohammed Baba Ganaru to charge of the Kano outfit as the second stanza resumes action.
Pillars sacked Okey Emordi after performing below standard in the ongoing season, and Baba Ganaru will replace the former Enyimba boss.
The Borno-born gaffer won two consecutive NPFL titles during his first spell, while on an interim capacity which ended in March 2014.
The chairman of Kano Pillars, Kabiru Baita has vowed to provide the new manager the best support to ensure the team is rebuilt and repositioned.
"Kano Pillars have already reached an agreement with Baba Ganaru to become the club's new technical adviser," media officer Idris Malikawa told Goal.
"The management has promised to give him all the support and urged him to focus on rebuilding the team," he said.
Pillars are currently in ninth place after the first half of the season. Goal
