Sunshine Stars coach, Kennedy Boboye has announced that he's no more the head coach of the Akure side after failing to pick up a continental ticket in his side's barren draw last Sunday.
Sunshine finished 6th at the conclusion of the Nigeria Professional Football league season which wrapped up last Sunday at the Teslim Balogun stadium.
He disclosed that he was grateful for the opportunity given to him to serve for the period he served the club, but insisted it was time for him to move to the next stage of his career.
“I have quit as Sunshine Stars because it is the best time for me to move forward,” Boboye disclosed.
“I am grateful for the chance to have led such a club and wish them the best.”
