The IAAF has concluded plans to hold its 2nd IAAF World U20 Coaches Conference in Bydgoszcz on 25 July.
The conference will be staged one day after the completion of the IAAF World U20 Championships Bydgoszcz 2016, from the 19-24 July.
The main objective of this conference is to keep coaches informed, bringing consistency and competence to the coaches who play an essential part in athletes’ careers.
The athletics body has therefore invited a number of experts in various fields to speak at the conference whose knowledge, experience and input will further qualify coaches who train athletes in this age group.
Topping the list of experts to speak at the event is Malek El-Hebil, IAAF Development and Member Relations Department Director, and he will be talking on "Build-up from event group to top performance in world-class athletics."
Also, Herbert Czingon, German pole vault coach- Coaching U20 world-class athletes for long-term success will be dealing with the topic: Best practise to ensure a long-term career for U20 athletes
