Sikiru Olatunbosun Charge MFM Teammates To Bounce Back

Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministry football club striker, Sikiru Olatunbosun, has urged his teammates to up their game as they prepare to battle Sunshine of Akure on Sunday in NPFL week 24 fixture at the Akure Township Stadium.

The Olukoya Boys were condemned to their first home defeat in the Nigeria Professional Football league last weekend following their 1-0 loss in the hands of Shooting Stars at the Agege stadium.

Sikiru, who is one of the club's highest goal scorers this season said losing back-to-back games was

disappointing, but wants his colleagues to push all that behind and bounce back stronger against the Owena boys, who will without one of the league's highest goal scorer- Okiki Afolabi with 13 goals so far.

''We lost two very important games and when things are like this, we need to put in extra effort,'' Olatunbosun told Goal.

''I am sure we will bounce back, it is only a matter of time.

''We will fight for a victory on Sunday and from then on we will try to build on that result. You see, right now we need a good result so we can build on that.

''We will approach that game with determination because we cannot afford to get nothing less than a victory. Sunshine Stars will be more organised now because they know we beat them before, but we will be ready."

Olatunbosun has scored five goals in 23 matches so far this season.
