Nigeria's D'Tigers have lost their second test game against world number four, Argentina in Las Vegas after failing to do a double on the South American side.
The 2004 Athens Olympics gold medalists defeated the coach William Voigt's men 101 Nigeria 79 in the second game early n Thursday morning, after Nigeria edged them out 96-92 in the in the exhibition game in Las Vegas.
D'Tigers could not hold the fierce world number, who got off to a winning start from the 1st quarter, and dominated the game until the very last.
Argentina won the the first quarter with 21-10 points and extended their points to 14 points in the 2nd quarter, finishing with 41-27 points.
The South Americans maintained their 14 points lead in the 3rd quarter Argentina claiming that one too with 69-55 points and the game rounded off with Argentina winning the game.
Coach Williams Voigt jumped off the game with Umeh, Uzoh, Chamberlain Oguchi, Lawal, Alade Aminu, while the coach ensured that he expanded his rotation tonight to let everyone get a chance. Already 12 different players have played tonight.
The team will travel back to Los Angeles tomorrow in preparation for another closed door exhibition with China before going to Houston.
Both Umeh and Oguchi scored 14 points each but wasn't enough to save the 2015 Afrobasket champions from defeat.
