Victor Osimhen Insists Flying Eagles Will Not Underrate Sudan

Flying Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has insisted that the Nigerian U20 national team is battle ready to seal their ticket to Zambia 2017 when they clash on Saturday.

The Emmanuel Amuneke's men beat their Sudanese counterpart 2-1 in the first leg away from home, and the second leg has been scheduled for Teslim Balogun this weekend in Lagos.

Osimhen, who spoke after his side's 2-2 draw against Remo Stars in a test match on Wednesday at the venue said the team does not depend on any individual, regardless of who the person may be.

The Wolfsburg bound striker was introduced into the game as a substitute, but was unable to fire his side to victory over the Nigeria National League side.

"We re a team, we don't depend on any player, if Victor is not around the team will function well."

"We are not underrating them, and what we need to on Saturday is to work hard."

Also, the head coach of Remo Stars, Nduka Ugbade, expressed excitement at the display of talents during the game, saying that both teams played well and that was why it was difficult for them to score more than that.

He also commended the U20 coach coach for the job well-done so far with his team, and wishing them all the best in their future endeavour.
