The Nigerian senior men's basketball team, D'Tigers have landed in Las Vegas, the venue for their friendly game against Argentina as they continue to prepare for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games in Brazil.
The coach William Voigt, who recently participated in a four nation tournament in China, where they beat the host country twice and lost to France and Argentina in the process, will play Argentina today.
The 2015 Afrobasket champion had been camping in Los Angeles since they left China for the next phase of their preparations towards next month's games.
The African champions currently ranks 25th on FIBA Ranking, and they will be battling host country, Brazil, Lithuania, Argentina, Spain and Croatia in Group B of the Men’s Olympic Basketball Tournament.
D'Tigers will dunk off its Olympic Basketball campaign against Argentina on August 7 Carioca Arena 1 in Rio de Janeiro, followed by games against Lithuania and Spain on the 9th and 11th of August 2016 respectively.
The 2016 Olympic Basketball Tournament will take place in Rio from 05 to 21 August 2016.
