Haruna Quadri Vows To Surpass London Olympic Games Performance

The 2014 International Table Tennis Federation Player of the year, Haruna Quadri, has said that he's hoping to surpass his London 2012 Olympics at the games in Rio, Brazil.

The 27-year old Table Tennis player is part of the Team Nigeria contingents to Brazil and he has insisted that he's battle ready for the challenge.

"Everyone wants to  make positive impact in their respective games."

"Definitely i'm going with the same mind and with God on my side I will surpass my performance at the London Olympic games,"

The Oyo State born player, who ranked 30th on the ITTF global ranking in 2014 reached the quarter finals of the world cup the same year before he crashed out of the tournament.

Other players in the Table Tennis category are Segun Toriola, who is making his seventh Olympics appearance since he made his debut in 1992. Olufunke Oshonaike and Edem Effiong are will also be competing for Nigeria at the games which commences next month.
