MFM's Defeat Is One Of Our Worst Games So Far- Heartland's Omo Johnson

Heartland FC striker, Omo Johnson, has described his side 2-0 loss to MFM FC at the Agege Township Stadium has his worst ever since he joined the Naze Millionaires.

The Owerri based team are currently swimming in the relegation zone with 29 points from 26 Nigeria Professional Football League games.

The former Kano Pillars striker said all their efforts failed to materialised, most especially when they were one man down in the encounter.

"This is one of our worst game since I joined this club,  I really can't explain what went wrong, probably we were off today. We pushed but the final ball just didn't click," Johnson told Goal.

"Even when we were one man down after the red card we pushed harder and it didn't really showed but effort to salvage a point still didn't workout."

He also admitted that his side are in a difficult situation, and he hopes they can get out of the relegation zone before the season wraps up.

"We are in a pretty difficult situation, we just have to go back to the drawing board,  sort out what went wrong,  correct the mistakes and try as much as possible not to drop points at home and pick points on the road and I believe that before the end of the season we shall get it right to avoid the drop," he added.
