Fidelis Ilechukwu Laments Plateau United Home Defeat

Fidelis Ilechukwu has expressed concern over MFM Fc's inability to convert the various chances they create to goals.

The coach of the NPFL debutants said this after his side lost their second home game at the Agege stadium on Sunday, saying the 1-0 defeat to Plateau United was disappointing .

The Olukoya Boys are now occupying the 11th position on the log with 36 points from 27 Games, and the Fidelis Ilechukwu's boys will be the guests of Enugu Rangers on Sunday.

Ilechukwu led the NPFL debutants to clinch the 2016 Lagos FA Cup title earlier in the year.

"I am very disappointed, we created beautiful and clear cut chances but we struggled to convert, one could still term it hard luck," Ilechukwu told Goal.

"Converting those chances has become a major challenge but we won't give up as we continue to find the right mix to solve this problem. We shall continue to push for a solution because this isn't the time to go on a blame game but we shall continue to motivate and instill the belief that they can do it.

"I'm worried that we have dropped in form, I am even disturbed that we have lost twice at home but I know my team, I know that they have the champion instinct in them and I know that we shall rediscover our form."
