Godwin Enakhena Blames MFM's Draw Against Warri Wolves On Experience

MFM FC chairman, Godwin Enakhena, has blamed his side's 1-1 draw at the Agege Township stadium against visiting Warri Wolves on experience.

Isah Akor prevented the Olukoya Boys from suffering their third home defeat after heading home a set piece in the 75th minute of the game, to cancel Obinna Eleje's 54th minute long range strike.

Enakhena is however confident that his boys can also pick points away from home as they continue to struggle in this second half of the league season.

The Chairman also gave kudos to the respected Delta state team, who forced the young and energetic MFM to a draw, in a game he expected his side to win.

Stephen Odey, Isah Akoh and even Sikiru Olatunbosun came close to scoring in the game but their efforts weren't just good enough to hand the home team all three points in the game.

"I will blame on what, first and foremost experience, we learn everyday and you will find out that you cannot do without experience, it is key."

"Look at the clubs that are doing very well, Wkki Tourists have been together for how long, no change of personnel, the coach remains, the players remain, same as Rangers, they've been there for so long, they kept the coach and very experienced players, so I think experience is our undoing at this point."

"The boys are giving everything they have but unfortunately, you need that experience, if you see the goal that Warri Wolves scored, it will tell you that experience is a key factor in football."

"Yes we rallied, it was too late for us to get the three points that we thought we needed in this game, it didn't just work out, but like I said he who fights and run away, has an opportunity to fight another day."
