Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, has said that there are good things to take away from the three straight defeats of the NPFL All Stars in Spain last week.
Rohr, who watched the domestic league players against two la liga side, Malaga and Atletico Madrid in the Carranza Cup said the league has potentials and and he hopes to start from there.
"I’m here to watch the games and then meet with everyone involved with the national teams," Rohr told npfl
"All this is to make diagnostic of football in Nigeria. After meeting with the coaches, like I have already done, I will meet with the players, the staff and then the journalists," the German said.
"We have to look beyond the results of the games in Spain and take positives in the talent that abound in Nigeria."
"We hope to get a good result on the 3rd of October against Zambia then come back to two home games."
The team arrived in Nigeria on Monday morning and the players have since left to join up with their various clubs for Nigeria Professional Football League matches billed for Wednesday and Thursday.
